As a Social Media Coordinator at Thrive Creative, you’ll be responsible for distilling, writing, creating, and posting social media content for a wide variety of Thrive’s B2B clients. Reporting to the Digital Strategist, you’ll work within our social media management tool, Agorapulse, as well as within LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram’s native platforms, to create and schedule compelling content on a daily basis. You’ll work closely with the Design Department to ensure that each piece of content adheres to each company’s brand guidelines. We expect you to be organized, high-energy, and well versed in basic B2B social strategies. Experience with LinkedIn is a must. Of course, you’ll also need to have impeccable writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Write, develop, and strategize social media content production and scheduling.

Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.

Generate, edit, publish, and share LinkedIn and other social content daily (original text, images, video, and HTML).

Stay informed regarding social media trends.

Utilize performance data to analyze what’s working and what’s not.

Community management—engage with the audience on each channel, seeking to identify content and posts that resonate with the audience.

Strategize with the team and sales on different strategies including content and outreach.

Identify new and innovative content sources.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master’s degree from an accredited university program with an emphasis on English, communications, advertising, journalism, or other related field.

One to two years of experience in a B2B social media management/coordination role, preferably within an agency environment.

Strong command of the English language and exceptional writing skills, with an ability to write in a variety of voices, tones, and styles.

Demonstrated enthusiasm for and understanding of B2B social media trends, plus a willingness to continue learning the field through company-sponsored courses, workshops, and webinars.

Strong understanding of marketing principles and how to apply them to digital content creation.

Passion for great storytelling.

Understands best practices on social media, especially LinkedIn.

Ability to edit and curate images and videos from online sources.

Excellent time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to prioritize tasks.

Strong team player who is willing to be flexible and adapt to the team’s needs.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
