At Thrive Creative, the Digital Marketing Manager role is a crucial position that brings together all aspects of digital marketing—content marketing, social media campaign planning and execution, analytics, digital ad creative development and testing, email marketing, SEO/SEM, budgeting, and media buying. We’re looking for a smart, savvy, sophisticated digital marketer who’s ready to influence important decisions ranging from which new technology solutions we should implement to new service offerings that will help our clients drive revenue and meet business objectives.
As Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for working with the creative team on a number of client initiatives across a number of client accounts. You will need to be motivated, thorough, obsessed with continually improving, open and receptive to critical feedback, and willing to make adjustments on the fly. This position will report to the Sr. Digital Strategist.
Manage the platform strategy, execution, performance, and reporting of digital marketing campaigns across key marketing channels, with a significant focus on social media and email.
Manage digital campaigns on key client accounts, providing recommendations and insights (based on first- and third-party data) into the best strategies and tactics to achieve our clients’ goals.
Be the programmatic and paid social expert for all agency clients with regards to campaign pacing, performance, and optimization.
Utilize social media and email marketing performance data to analyze what’s working and what’s not.
Engage in community management and content monitoring when necessary, seeking to identify content and posts that resonate with client audiences.
Work with internal teams to put together pitch presentations and proposals to assist in the growth of Thrive’s digital marketing client roster.
Interface effectively with account teams and work to understand client messaging approaches and needs.
Meet aggressive deadlines, reprioritize throughout a given week as needed under the guidance of Sr. Digital Strategist, and provide clear client updates.
Utilize internal tools and systems to communicate and execute work. Communicate often and provide status updates on work regularly.
Participate in weekly team and client meetings, providing detailed updates on progress.
4+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in an agency environment.
Have in-platform execution experience in DSPs (Facebook, Twitter, Google Ads, DV360, Amazon, etc.)
Experience handling and translating data analytics and how they impact a client’s bottom line.
Passionate about social media and the technologies used to support online and mobile advertising operations: ad serving, audience management tools, inventory applications, and third-party ad tags.
Experience with Kenshoo and/or other digital advertising platforms.
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university program with an emphasis on marketing, advertising, or similar.
Able to own and manage client accounts and handle client-facing tasks such as presentations, pitches, update calls, and more.
Competitive attitude and individual drive.
Strong understanding of general marketing principles and how to apply them in digital and print.
Agile and bright with an ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
